About Rachel Krochmal
Dedicated to all aspects of women’s health care, Rachel Krochmal, FNP, has been serving the women of Escondido and San Marcos, California, for over 16 years. As part of the team at North County Women’s Specialists, Rachel takes pride in helping women with vulvar disorders, abnormal Pap smears, dysplasia, human papillomavirus (HPV), and other disorders.
Rachel trained as a nurse practitioner at the University of California, Davis. She thoroughly enjoyed her time there, as she has worked at UC Davis’ nurse practitioner/physician assistant program as a clinical preceptor for eight years. She is also a member of the American Society of Colposcopy and serves on their subcommittee for patient education. As a member of the California Academy of PAs as well, Rachel is well known in the medical community.
Rachel was born and raised in Escondido and is living there to this day with her husband and three children, so it should come as no surprise she’s so committed to helping women in North County.
Outside of work, Rachel is an avid traveler. She loves spending time in the water snorkeling and scuba diving, and won’t turn down a trip to the slopes for some skiing.
